In 1983, Attorney Jack Beam established a scholarship in memory of his parents, Nick and Esther E. Beam. This scholarship, which is managed by the Northwestern University scholarship department, benefits students who hold undergraduate degrees from the University of Michigan and are enrolled at Northwestern University Law School. Each year, one student is offered the scholarship, which will be available each year for the three years they are at Northwestern.
