Beam Legal Team is pleased to announce that we are once again sponsoring the annual Misericordia Family Fest!
The Family Fest is Misericordia’s largest fundraising event, and it’s an essential part of filling funding gaps to help the community center continue its services for vulnerable children and adults.
“Again, thank you for your generous gift. Together we are making a difference in the lives of God’s most vulnerable children and adults.” – Sister Rosemary Connelly and Friar Jack Clair
Now in its 101st year, Misericordia is a non-profit community of care that supports and houses individuals with mild to profound developmental disabilities. From its 31-acre campus in Chicago, Misericordia provides residential services to more than 600 children and adults from all walks of life. And though it is operated by the Sisters of Mercy under the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago, Misericordia funds its programs, renovations, and new buildings largely through private donations.
Fundraising events like the annual Family Fest – which will mark its 40th gathering this fall – give folks across Chicago a great opportunity to learn about Misericordia and see its work in action. Donations raised this year will also help the organization continue to expand its services and residential community, provide more work and learning opportunities to residents, and reach out to hundreds of families on its waiting list.
At Beam Legal Team, we’re passionate about giving back to the communities that so often entrust us to handle their most important legal matters and to causes that align with our mission to fight for the injured and wronged – including charitable events like the Misericordia Family Fest. It has long been our honor to support Misericordia Heart of Mercy, and we invite you check out the upcoming event or learn more about the organization and how you can get involved.
Family Fest 2022 will take place on Sunday, September 11th at Misericordia’s Chicago campus. You can learn more about tickets, raffles, and sponsorship opportunities here.
