On Sunday, May 18, the employees of Beam Legal Team and their families proudly participated in the DuPage County March for Babies walk at Lisle Community Park. As a sponsor of this community event, we joined hundreds of other walkers, volunteers, and supporters in raising awareness and funds for March of Dimes, an organization dedicated to fighting the maternal and infant health crisis that our nation faces. The event was a great success, raising over $100,000 to support healthier futures for mothers and babies throughout DuPage County and beyond.
March for Babies addresses one of America’s most pressing public health challenges: rising preterm birth and maternal mortality rates. The United States remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, with particularly alarming disparities affecting women and babies of color. These statistics aren’t just numbers to us—they represent families whose lives have been forever changed by preventable complications during pregnancy and birth. At Beam Legal Team, we understand firsthand the devastating impact that birth injuries and medical negligence can have on families, which is why supporting organizations like March of Dimes aligns perfectly with our mission to advocate for those who have been harmed by medical malpractice.
March of Dimes’ vital research and programs help ensure that every baby gets the best possible start in life, creating a safer future for the families we serve. We’re honored to stand alongside this organization and our community in the fight for maternal and infant health, because every family deserves a healthy beginning.
