Beam Legal Team is proud to sponsor Misericordia Heart of Mercy Family Fest each year. The 2021 Family Festival or Family Fest is the group’s biggest sponsored event of the year, so we just had to support it once again. We were especially eager to help after the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has caused so many new difficulties for people from all walks of life.

This organization helps people with mild to severe developmental disabilities live happier, healthier, and fuller lives. Donating to this outstanding and charitable organization has become an annual tradition at our law firm, and it is one we intend to continue for as long as our doors are open.

“Through God’s good grace, you have been called to make a difference. We feel blessed you have found your way to Misericordia. Thank you again for your wonderful support!” – Sister Rosemary Connelly and Friar Jack Clair

Misericordia was founded in 1921, and it has maintained its high standards of care and support for people with disabilities ever since. Its Chicago campus covers 31 acres and allows the organization to help more than 600 children and adults there. Although the organization is run by the Sisters of Mercy as part of the Catholic Archdioceses of Chicago, it receives only minimal funding this way. The vast majority of funding is obtained through fundraiser events and regular donations from patrons like us.

Money donated to Misericordia helps the organization with costs related to beneficiary:

  • Housing, food, and necessities
  • Training courses
  • Employment opportunities

It has long been our honor to help support Misericordia Heart of Mercy and to know that our donations have been used so productively. We must send sincere appreciation to everyone at this charitable organization for everything you do for people living with disabilities within our communities and beyond.

From everyone at Beam Legal Team in Chicago, we thank you.
