When we learned that the Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s leading food bank, faced a surge in need due to the recent federal shutdown of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, we knew we had to act.
Today, we are proud to announce that we have donated $10,000 to the organization in support of their mission of ensuring no Chicagoan goes hungry. This gift is part of our ongoing commitment to the local community and our belief that legal advocacy and civic responsibility go hand in hand.
Thousands of families across Chicago and Cook County rely on the Food Depository’s work not only to provide immediate access to nutritious food, but to uphold the dignity of friends, family, and neighbors who are facing hardship during unprecedented times.
